(Regional Dance America Northeast)

Regional Dance America is a national association of dance companies, which was founded in 1988 to promote the artistic development of dance companies throughout the United States. RDA member companies are dedicated to fostering quality, promoting education, and nurturing the talents of dancers and choreographers throughout the country. To be a member, a company must meet several criteria:
• Perform at least three times per year. Each year member companies are also required to undergo adjudication to prove that they meet the required artistic standards.
• Maintain a high level of dancer accountability. Dancers must follow the organization's guidelines.
• If the company has dancers who wish to be Regional Dancers, these dancers must meet yearly benchmarks set by the organization to retain their membership.
As an RDANE member, New Castle Regional Ballet follows the criteria, detailed below.
